Starting out the Summer Right at @GreatWolfLodge

This past weekend has been absolutely amazing for our summer beginnings. Every summer Heaven spends a week with her grandparents either in Memphis or Houston and before she goes I love to spend even more one-on-one time with just her and the hubs. This year we were grateful to partner with Great Wolf Lodge for an amazingly fun day.

What is Great Wolf Lodge?!
Great Wolf Lodge is a family hotel resort with an indoor waterpark. In addition to a water park, each resort features restaurants, arcades, spas, and children's activities. [1]

There was so much to do from the face painting to the arcade, rock climbing and let's not forget the amazing waterpark. This was our first time ever visiting Great Wolf Lodge and mind you the staff was amazing. Prior to going, I had heard so many great stories from those who have visited all over and everyone loved their experience.

Heaven is 3yo but will be 4 in June and we were worried that she wouldn't be able to ride the rides. However, as soon as we walked into the water park one of the staff members took her height and informed us of the rides she could do versus the ones she would not be able to ride...which I needed for peace of mind. Now y'all know I'm the overprotective mom but their staff had excellent customer service and very attentive to the kids in their destined area. They even had life jackets by chest size openly available for kids ranging from infants, toddlers, bigger kids, and adults.

We also received complimentary meal tickets to use at their Buckets Incredible Craveables and there was also a bar in the middle of the waterpark area for the parents of the children who wanted a drink or two while laying out watching the kids.

While we didn't actually lodge and get a room for the night, hubs looked up the rooms and they were booked up quick at the lowest price of $280 per night. Even though it could have been that it is Memorial Day Weekend and there were families galore, I could agree that the hype I heard about Great Wolf Lodge set the tone of high expectation for an indoor waterpark resort. I also asked if Great Wolf Lodge was open during the winter season and was told that although the outdoor pool was closed, they change the atmosphere to embody the winter season for the holidays.
